I ordered the sesame chicken and a few sushi rolls delivered to my hotel. It took a little time for the delivery but was within the hour limit stated upon ordering online, so nothing to complain about there. The delivery driver was extremely friendly. The sushi was amazing! I highly recommend it. I'm only in town for another week, but I am definitely going to be ordering from New China Luck again and will be recommending it to my friends and family. Prices are also extremely reasonable, especially for the quality. Great job New China Luck!
We have been trying the various Chinese Restaurants since moving here last year looking fo authentic Asian dishes and that real Asian- far east taste.....and we are happy to say so far anyway this one is the best of the best....everything was authentic and prepared with all Asian ingredients....no substitutes local vegetables for Bok-choy or Bamboo Shoots or Black Forest Mushrooms.......the Mongolian Beef was cooked as if it was done by a Mongolian cook and came right off her bar b q to be eat...it was excellent.....the Seafood dishes were all very good as well...
The General Tso's Chicken was done perfectly as was the Sesame Chicken....they both use breaded chicken but only a real Asian cook will know they use completely different types of batter to bread the chicken in plus the Tso's Chicken is in bite size chunks and authentic sesame chicken is small 1 1/2 long strips.....now if this place makes it's own egg rolls fresh by hand every day instead of the frozen ones that all taste the same restaurants can buy.....then our search for a good Chinese restaurant is over till we find one better.....sadly they are getting fewer and fewer no days.....the days of finding a real Chinese owned and run Buffet Restaurant that has a full Asian Menu....with Squid, Octopus, Crab, Lobster, several kinds of fish plus all the types of shrimp dishes from huge prawns with the dark brown sauce and cashews with bamboo shoots, black forest Mushrooms, Bok-choy and Water chestnuts....laid over a huge bed of fried rice.....or the Slices of Beef or Pork or Chicken on a bamboo stick that have the sweet and ever so slightly spicy red bar b q sauce on them and cooked over a charcoal or gas grill....with a big bowl of stir fried Chinese Vegetables in the brown sauce and a huge bowl of fried rice to go along with it.....mmmmm it's soooo good....or my favorite seafood dish...don't remember what it's called but it's bite size, small octopus chopped Into quarters, with water chestnuts and bamboo shoots and mushrooms cooked to your level of spicy.....whatever it's called it is delicious and belongs right up there with the best Crab, Lobster and Shrimp dishes.....when we can find another place like that.....then we will truly have found our Chinese food home.
Best lunch buffet in town and an excellent menu in the evenings. Staff is very friendly, too. Best eggrolls I've ever had!
Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Waiter was great too. My new go to Chinese restaurant in rapid city!
We had a great dining experience. Our waitress was helpful . I had sushi my husband Black peppered chicken. We would both order the same thing again.
