The food was was good, but the little blonde waitress (looked to be in her 50s, smaller gal), was ride.
Also there was a drunk passed out by the door. Not exactly a good family place
I ordered cheese curds and a philly with fries to go. The cheese curds were more dark brown than golden and had a slight burnt oil taste but the cheese inside was good. The Philly was not so great. It had what looked and tasted like pot roast on it instead of philly meat or chopped steak. The bun was extremely soggy due to a fair amount of grease and the only real flavor I got from it was green pepper. The one star I did give is for the nice woman that waited on me. The tip was the only money that I spent here that was well deserved.
Good service but the meatloaf is just full of salt even without the brown gravy. Sign on all tables says they have buffet from 11-2 however we we're informed not in the winter. So apparently the people that live here year round aren't important to the corporation that owns it. It's full of signs and auto memorabilia but lacks the Black Hills charm that other restaurants offer that do have buffets year round.
Love this place. Great food at Great prices. Generous portions. Daily specials, all you can eat fish on Friday and breakfast buffet on Sunday.
I took my family to brunch after church last weekend. There was a large crowd but we were seated quickly and our waitress was very friendly. The buffet was great, including both breakfast and lunch options. The food was fresh and delicious. Thanks for your great service.
She didn't bother to refill my coffee until after I was finished with my meal. She mostly just stood by the cash register and made the busser serve the food.
