We came to this area for vacation and my wife and I ended up getting sick. This Urgent Care is amazing. Very clean. Staff was very friendly. Fast fast fast. Wish we had this kind of urgent care where we live.
We showed up with a sick little one about 5 minutes until close. I was prepared to be not liked but I was pleasantly surprised that was not the case at all. Everyone was extremely kind and helpful. Our little guy was checked thoroughly and I felt much better. Three days later the nurse even called because we left a little stuffed dog behind accidentally. It was so kind of her to do that and in my opinion so above and beyond (her name is Lisa, she is amazing). Highly recommend this location!
I've been to this location a few times and each time is a different experience. Everyone is usually kind and understanding. Some PA-C's are better than others but this is really expected when you walk in knowing you never know who you'll get. They're really good for everyday things and will let you know if you need to go to the ER instead. They're doing a great job at taking the load off of the ER for common things like sinus infections and head colds. Pretty much any of those times that aren't an emergency.
This is a very well run very nice Urgent Care clinic. Stopped in while passing through on vacation due to a very sore throat. Very professional staff from the front desk, nurses, PA, etc... I would be a regular if I lived here.
I like the waiting area as they have iPads set up throughout the room and infused water to drink while you wait.
Worst care I have ever witnessed in my life. My mom was having a hard time swallowing and a pressure in her chest when we arrived at Black Hills urgent care on Hanes Ave. The receptionist was not in a hurry to have a nurse look at her but instead needed to get insurance information. After information was taken care of she went to get a nurse and we waited... not another patent in the building. I walked around corner and seen the doctor and nurse just sitting there doing nothing. Nurse finally come and gets us and takes us back to room where she asks more questions and does all the usual nurse duties and then goes to get the doctor. Nurse leaves and informs doctor of her findings and than doctor comes in and asks same questions. He listens to her heart and breathing and states if there is an obstruction in her throat he doesn't have the equipment to see the problem and advises us to go to hospital. We left for hospital and got great care at the hospital. I'm sure we will get a bill for the doctor seeing us for 5 minutes and doing nothing. Will never go to another urgent care even if it is closer.
