I have been going to Office Depot for the last ten years. One of the things I do on a regular basis is get a personallized calendar made every year at Christmas time. I stopped in two weeks ago just to see if they are still doing the calendars and how much they were. The guy behind the counter advised they were $9.50 per calendar and the turn around time would be about two days which is consistent with the past. When I went there today to drop off my jump drive to get the calendars done, the lady (for lack of a better term) advised me to go home and do the calendars on the internet instead of her doing them. When I asked her if she could make them instead, she said that if she made them that it would take two to three weeks to get them done. I told her that we have NEVER had that issue in the past. She once again told us to go home and make them on the internet. I asked her if the price was the same and she said yes that it was around $16.00 per calendar. I told her that I have never had that problem or ever paid that much in the past. When I told her I would just go to Walmart instead, she smittently said "OK". When I came home, I looked on the sight out of curiosity and there is no where on the sight to do the personalized calendars like i used to have done in the past. They will no longer get my business but apparently that doesn't matter because to Office Depot, customer service doesn't mean what it used to.
Very impressed with the service I received here. I sent them a digital file of some party invitations I needed printed. They were Harry Potter themed and I just said I wanted them on cardstock. The lady called to tell me they were done and said that she hoped I didn't mind but she went ahead and printed them on a different type of paper to make them really look like they came from Hogwarts. When I went to pick them up, they looked FANTASTIC! I was thoroughly impressed with her willingness to give some creative input. Then when we were checking out, the guy helping us overheard my husband and I'd conversation about how I hoped I could find an envelope for them to fit in. He took it upon himself to grab a ruler and measure them and tell me exactly which envelopes I should use. Excellent customer service!
I used OD to print my wedding invitations and programs. They were so helpful and kind. I also go here to mail things, since it's usually less crowded than the USPS.
