Doctor Anderson and staff have been great. He went above and beyond to make sure we had all the tests ran. Great bedside manner. Over all it was a good experience.
The best doctors I have found chronic pain management in Rapid City! Their staff is top notch. When I need medicine refills, all O have to do is call it in for me to pick up from the front desk, or they will mail it to my pharmacy or my home, whichever is easiest since I live in another town. Best of all, they are NOT affiliated with Rapid Regional Hospital, so you know going in, that you are going to be heard and listened to for real, and their hands won't be tied by that so called Non Profit company. RRH has directed all of it's doctors in the outlying clinics to NOT treat chronic pain in any way, although they won't ever SAY that. Experience is the teacher. So, through experience, the doctors at The Rehab Doctors will LISTEN to you, treat your pain and moreover, do everything they can to find out why you are having intractable pain issues. In my case two ruptured dics in my lumbar spine as well as spinal stenosis! I recommend this clinic as well as these doctors who go above and beyond to help their patients to everyone I know who suffers from chronic, unrelenting pain, or even those who have broken a bone or sprained a joint! Yes, they take a conservative approach, and they will NOT simply feed your drug habit, so don't expect that. If they think you need physical therapy, they will prescribe that as well. Please give them a try, the next time you need help for a sport injury or have pain that you need help with. You'll be so glad you went and got REAL and SIGNIFICANT help. Again, It's critical to remember that their hands are NOT tied by the behemoth that is desperately trying to pass as a non-profit known as Rapid Regional Health! Thank you so much Rehab Doctors!
If you can get doc Anderson great if you get doc Dietrich go somewhere else. Had to go through them for workman's comp issue or i never would have gone here to begin with. Doctor Dietrich was rude and honestly didn't seem like he cared one way or another what the problem was just that they would get paid, more of an 'ok i'm here' type attitude. His whole exam took maybe 10 minutes he just breezed through it then talked to my case worker as through i weren't even there, ignoring me the rest of the appointment.
Horribly uncaring staff and doctors. Had to cancel and reschedule appointments (in advance) due to a chronic illness. One appointment was even rescheduled as I sat in the ER. Because of this I am now labeled "uncompliant." When I tried to explain that they are the only providers in my area who can preform the procedure needed they did not care. Way to make someone with a chronic disease feel even less like a human being. I guess when you are the only providers you can get away with treating patients like this.
Had an appointment scheduled for 7am showed up early and nobody opened the door. They don't even have signs with their hours so I left thinking maybe my appointment was at 6:45pm I called minutes later only to find out I missed my appointment which was scheduled for 7am and I now have to wait 2 months to get seen. Good thing I'm not dying of pain because if that was the case of don't think I could wait 2 months to get seen.
