I suspect previous reviewers relied on WebMD for their apparently doctorate-level medical education, so they were probably quite surprised at Dr. Diamond's ACTUAL medical knowledge and are now accusing him of "using the wrong tool."

I read the previous reviews while in the waiting room of Dr Diamond's office and started to second-guess my decision to come to his clinic.

Both my husband and I were seen here and had no problems until we were billed for something that did not take place. I tried to explain what I was seen for and just because the NP brought up birth control I was billed for it even though I told her no and my insurance does not pay for it. I have had the same insurance for quite a while and I know what it covers and does not cover, so why would I make an apt for something my insurance is NOT going to cover at all... When trying to explain this to Dr. Diamond he would not let me talk and spoke over me rudely... Oh and how convenient that the NP no longer works there.. Definitely going somewhere else..

So I pulled up the number to call and pay my bill and noticed the few terrible reviews. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the most recent reviewers are likely "those people" who are never happy and find fault in everything. I picked this office by a suggestion from a co-worker to address a long time issue. I had no idea what to expect, if I would need major surgery or what was going to happen. I made my appointment, was called ahead of time to confirm by a nurse as well as gather additional info to make my visit efficient. I arrived and waited maybe 5-10min and was then taken to an exam room where the usual took place, general questions, blood pressure ect....Dr. Diamond came in shortly after and assessed the situation, explained in detail what was going on and and allowed me to ask a plethora of (in my opinion) really stupid questions. From there he said he'd like to get me all taken care of that day. I felt like he dropped everything to help me, gave me all my options, his recommendations and his time and attention. After my short procedure later that day he had me come back on a Friday evening to check my incision and re dress it. He gave me his cell phone number and encouraged me to call day or night if I felt discomfort. I never felt uncomfortable or that he spoke in a rude manner (I also recognize that he is a physician and his knowledge trumps my Google research so I don't need to question everything) I was billed appropriately and my total cost after insurance was a meager $60 for 2 procedures and 2 follow-ups. Unless they start handing out gold bricks after appointments I don't know how my experience could have been more positive. Thank you Dr. Diamond and staff for being the best at what you do.

Really charging people 25$ for not showing up! I didn't feel comfortable with the Dr nor did I appreciate waiting an hour and a half one time and 2 hours for an appointment! Scheduled at 3 and didn't get out until 5 I missed other appointments! The nurses and staff were nice but the Dr made me feel super uncomfortable!

Also, as someone who works in the health field, being charged $25 for missing an appointment is cake. You got off easy with that small charge. If you no-show to appointments, you automatically get charged. You can't no-show for an appointment, cost a doctor that time since he can no longer reschedule someone for that spot, and expect to not get charged for it. Most offices charge at least $100 for no-shows.

Now, I have been there three times and have been shown nothing but patience, respect, and compassion. I have had a different nurse each time I have stopped and all have been qualified and professional. The facilities are nice, parking is easy, the wait-times have always been short, and the staff have always been very polite.
