We stopped short for the night because our intended destination was full. Outstanding choice! Beautiful park-like environment, super clean facilities and very friendly and accommodating staff. Nice access to the canyon multi-use trail and great scenery. Very spacious sites, and although we didn't use them, the cabins seemed to be a notch above typical. WiFi not the strongest, but on par with most RV parks. Overall, a great example of what an RV park SHOULD be, and one of the best KOAs we've stayed in.
Great place to stay! We ran into a horrible hailstone and our camper suffered damage. The owner knew of some repair guys that would come out and fix our now exposed bathroom. All of their staff have been friendly and helpful. The site itself is well taken care of, clean and safe. What more could you ask for?

Nice, clean, centrally located. Not in the woods but this is what we were looking for because we were gone all day and it has easy access. Kids liked the pool. Also have a little train for the kids to ride.
Way over priced. Could have got more sleep in the Cabels parking lot. The location of this campground may be convenient for those who need to be in Rapid City but the noise from the road, race tracks and the train blaring it's horn from 4 an to 6am every morning was not worth the 80+ we paid a night. Wouldn't pay more than 25 a night for this place. The campground was clean. Easy pull through sites. Easy in and out of the campground. But since this place is really only a place to get full hookups and a shower it isn't worth the price.
