Born and raised in NY, traveled to LAX often, flew out of ATL a few times and currently live in Norfolk VA..and this was one of the easiest and nicest airports to fly out of. TSA was friendly and really nice and the lines moved quickly. The plane was smaller that anyone I've ever been on so my Cary on had to be checked but everyone was super cool. I'll be back in August. United Airlines. I would like to thank Jamal & Rona for their tireless efforts to help us make our flight this morning. My wife's passport was new and they sat on the phone for 40 minutes through every verification while remaining calm and focused. Made us feel much more at ease. Thank you!
I have had several pleasant encounters at this airport. The bathrooms have always been clean, the food is good and not as crazy expensive as bigger airports. I definitely will return.
Great airport! Security is always fast and the TSA agents are the nicest you’ll find anywhere. They have full TSA precheck support as well. Clean bathrooms, charging stations, shops and food too. An asset to the area. Only wish flights here were cheaper.
Had a long drive traveling out west, my brother, based in Germany, decided to meet us along our route. We picked him up here at 3:30 in the morning. I could not drive the RV another mile! So we pulled over and slept for a few hours in the parking lot and the staff did not bother us one bit!! Thank you so much for your kindness. My husband was diagnosed with brain cancer in January and this was his dream trip, to see some of the west. We'll be back some day!
