I have called at all hours of the day and continue to get a message indicating I've called during busy hours... 11AM-4PM. Please do your job, turn on your phones. I understand it is a busy job, and quite thankless. However, respect that money you are being paid comes from the people you serve... you can do better.
Walked in, line of about 15 people. Asked someone how long they had been waiting, they said over 20 minutes and the line hadn't moved at all. I went up to ask what time they open in thr morning, and got completely ignored.
It’s always way more complicated than it needs to be. Especially if you have an out of state license.
If you call and ask the same question to 3 different people , you will get 3 different answers....
I was even told one time they could not look up your license plate info by name only by SSN..
Another time I was required to provide a POA for my mother to renew her tags. They made copies and then told me they do not retain the copies for future uses,,, so why make copies?? I asked.
Every time I go to the office I call ahead to make sure I have everything I need and is required. But when I get there the person on the phone forgot one detail which causes me another trip down from the hills.
